What happens to your email address

The form on the home page is Hostinger Reach's own page, shown inside a frame. Hostinger Reach is the email service the list runs on.

What you type into the form goes straight to Hostinger Reach. It does not pass through this site, and this site keeps no copy.

This site's own pages load no Hostinger script and run no analytics and no counters. The form inside the frame is Hostinger Reach's own page. It runs Hostinger's own code, which this site cannot see into or change.

Your browser asks Hostinger Reach for the form when you open the home page, though some browsers wait until you scroll near it. This happens whether or not you join. Like any web server, Hostinger Reach then sees your IP address and browser details, and that the request came from this site.

The page inside the frame, and the images it loads from Hostinger, may set Hostinger cookies, such as Cloudflare's __cf_bm, and may keep data in your browser under Hostinger's own address. This can happen whether or not you join. Hostinger's own privacy policy covers those.

Hostinger Reach keeps your email address, your first name if you give it, and a tag, "form:TQO home page", that records which form you joined through. The form asks for nothing else.

Hostinger Reach may keep records of its own, such as the date you joined, and whatever its page inside the frame records. Its own privacy policy covers those.

To send you an email each time a new episode is published. If you give a first name, it is used to address those emails.

With Hostinger Reach, the email service the list runs on. Nothing from the form is stored on this site.

Every email has an unsubscribe link. Use it at any time and the emails stop. Your address stays on the list, marked unsubscribed.

Unsubscribing does not delete your address or your name. There is no route yet for asking to have them deleted.
